As mentioned by Hospitality Design, 1 Hotel has a mission of sustainability, therefore eco-conscious materiality was used to align with the brand’s vision. The natural wood elements align with the chain’s mission and bring a light and airy sensation to the hotel’s atmosphere. The wooden, earthy component of Toronto’s 1 Hotel is seen throughout the entire establishment, from the lobby to the rooftop, from tables to millwork.
