Located on Upper King Street in Charleston’s vibrant Cannonborough neighbourhood, The Nickel Hotel by Method Co. is a boutique destination that captures the timeless charm of the city through 50 elegantly designed rooms and suites, a lush courtyard, and intimate gathering spaces, including Bar Daniel and the rooftop lounge, Rosemary Rose.
Artco is proud to have crafted custom furnishings throughout the guestrooms, suites, and penthouses, including casegoods, sofas, and sectionals that bring a refined yet playful take on traditional Southern design. From iconic yellow sofas and sectionals with blue contrast piping and scroll arms, to media consoles with cane doors and scalloped detailing, deep red and mint nightstands, and beds with classic turned posts and vibrant upholstered headboards—each piece contributes to a layered, character-rich environment.
Artco’s craftsmanship extends into the hotel’s signature social spaces, enhancing their distinct atmospheres. At the tucked-away Bar Daniel, custom banquettes surrounding the fireplace create an intimate, club-like setting.
Above, Rosemary Rose offers a rooftop escape inspired by the Riviera lifestyle, where leather sofas, traditional banquettes, and outdoor seating invite guests to unwind against sweeping views of Charleston. Together, these thoughtfully designed furnishings embody the spirit of Southern hospitality with a fresh, elevated perspective.
